The HealthSpan Method ™ for Nutrition and Longevity
The HealthSpan Method ™
My method brings together the latest scientific research and discoveries in wellbeing and healthspan blended with a good dose of common sense and strong nutrition and lifestyle support.
It offers a structured way to understand your body, optimise how it functions, and support long-term vitality using evidence-based strategies.
This method is built on strong foundations: genetics, telomere length, epigenetics, mitochondrial health, cellular senescence, microbiome balance, mitochondria health, inflammation reduction, immunity, hormone balance and efficient cell communication. Each of these elements plays a crucial role in how we age and how resilient we remain over time.
Inspired by the 12 Hallmarks of Ageing identified by Dr. Carlos López-Otín, my HealthsSpan Method is designed to help reduce chronic disease risk, lower biological age and slow the pace of ageing.
To address these hallmarks, we combine targeted nutrition, fasting protocols, DNA methylation support, exercise, sleep optimisation, lifestyle adjustments, and personalised supplementation. Together, these interventions build a more resilient, energised, and vital version of you — for today and for the many years ahead.
-
Epigenetics affects how your genes behave, and this has a profound impact on how fast or slow you age. Your DNA doesn’t change, but epigenetic marks determine which genes are turned on or off, and to what extent. This directly influences biological ageing.
-
Cellular senescence is one of the key processes that influences how we age and how long we live healthy. As cells become damaged over time, they can enter a “senescent” state (AKA Zombie cells) … still alive, but no longer functioning properly. These cells release inflammatory signals that affect neighbouring cells, accelerate ageing, disrupt hormones, weaken immunity and increase the risk of chronic disease.
-
The healthy bacteria in our body play a central role in how we feel today and the future. When the microbiome becomes disrupted, it can contribute to bloating, fatigue, hormonal symptoms, weight gain, inflammation, and shorter healthspan. Nurturing your microbiome can support health and long-term vitality.
-
Chronic, low-grade inflammation is one of the most important factors influencing our current and future health. Inflammation results in slower energy, joint discomfort, weight shifts, hormonal issues and increased disease risk. Supporting a healthier healthspan means calming underlying inflammation so the body can focus on repair, resilience and long-term vitality.
-
Hormones are the body’s internal messengers, influencing everything from energy and metabolism to mood, sleep, digestion and long-term health. Supporting hormonal balance is essential for a healthy healthspan, as it helps stabilise energy, maintain metabolic health, support mood, protect cognitive function and reduce inflammation.
-
Balanced blood sugar is one of the most powerful foundations for long-term health and vitality. When blood sugar swings high and low—often due to stress, poor sleep, poor nutrition or sedentary lifestyles —it can lead to fatigue, cravings, mood shifts, weight changes and eventually increase the risk of metabolic issues, underperforming mitochondria imbalanced hormones and inflammation….all hallmarks of ageing.
-
Your immune system is constantly working in the background to protect you from infections, manage inflammation, repair tissues and keep your body in balance. Supporting immune health is essential for a strong healthspan, as it helps reduce chronic inflammation, enhances resilience, and keeps cellular repair functioning optimally.
Group Programme … coming soon!!
It an the new year, I’ll be launching a Group Programme based on my Healthspan Method™.
They’re built on the very same science-based approach I use in my one-to-one programmes, but with the added benefits of community and affordability.
We’ll move through the journey together, support one another, share experiences and learn in a space that feels encouraging, connected and motivating.
It’s a beautiful way to grow your health with both expert guidance and the power of group support.
